Chris Vaisvil is a composer who works with various tunings and approaches. His works are realized through human and computer performance and musical instruments he modifies or create. Chris has earned an Associate degree in Music and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. His music is often a blend of science and art mediated by his childhood Chicago Lithuanian - Polish heritage. Musically Chris' work starts with admiration of contemporary composers like Charles Ives, Benjamin Britten, Dmitri Shostakovich, Igor Stravinsky, and Carl Ruggles while looking to Claude Debussy, Orlande de Lassus and John Dowland as well as visual artists Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso and poet T. S. Elliot for inspirational guidance.
