Composer's Voice presents
Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame
featuring clarinetist and singer
Kristen Mather de Andrade

On Saturday, January 4th, 2025 at 2:00 - 2:30pm EST (UTC-5) Composer's Voice presents Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame featuring clarinetist and singer Kristen Mather de Andrade

15 composers will be performed by Kristen Mather de Andrade. Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame is 15 one-minute works written by different composers specifically for a musician or ensemble. Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame gives a variety of new music by 15 different living composers.

The composers presented in the set of 15 are: Beth Anderson, Michalis Andronikou, David Bohn, Erik Branch, Jim Dalton, Douglas DaSilva, Jorien Van Delm, Geoffrey Hudson, Rob Knable, Travis Maslen, Melanie Mitrano, P. F. Strohm, Fabian Svensson, M. Williamson, and Mark Zuckerman.

Lightbulb moments can strike at any time. Eclectic virtuosic clarinetist Kristen Mather de Andrade had reached a career milestone in being years into a career as the principal clarinetist with the West Point Band when she had a seismic artistic epiphany. After playing a program of Brazilian music on a livestream, she decided it was time to record her full-length debut album, aptly-titled "Clarão" which translates from Portuguese to mean "flash of light."

More can be found out about Kristen and the composers on the Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame website:
