15 Dance Performances with pianist Yumi Suehiro

Born in Osaka, Japan, Yumi Suehiro began her musical journey at six, quickly earning acclaim with numerous competition wins, including the Kobe International Competition as its youngest winner. She holds a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music, where she studied with Zenon Fishbein and Peter Vinograde.

Suehiro has performed at renowned festivals such as Darmstädter Ferienkurse and Sound of Stockholm. As a core member of Ensemble Mise-en, she performed Ligeti’s Piano Concerto in 2017. Dedicated to education, she has also served on the faculty at Lehman College Continuing Education.
